HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE

Amy Vavrunek is the driving force behind Artemis Graphic Design with a proven track record in the creative design industry as a business leader, art director, consultant and mentor.

Prior to launching Artemis Graphic Design, Inc., Amy and two business partners founded Accent Presentations with offices in San Diego and Minneapolis providing professional presentation design, 35mm slides, digital printing and large format graphics. After contributing to the Qualcomm Initial Public Offering “road show” presentation in 1991, Amy found her niche in the graphics industry and continued to develop her presentation graphic skills. While growing the San Diego office, she worked on numerous IPO, Secondary Offering and Venture Capital presentation, and continued expanding the service bureau in other areas.

Based upon growth and revenue in the industry, Amy was nominated as one of three finalists in the Earnst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year awards” in 1999. Accent Presentations continued to experiment with new technologies in the digital print industry and was ultimately sold to a competitor in 2000. Artemis Graphic Design, Inc. opened its doors as a full-service design agency shortly after.

Well known for her presentation experience, Amy added animation to her skill-set thereby expanding upon the visual messaging experience and leveraged her agency by hiring an experienced creative staff to offer a full range of services that included: marketing, advertising, custom illustration, web design, corporate identity, product packaging and print collateral.
