Client Vision
Somaxon needed to translate their bare-bones, science-and-statistics-based corporate presentation into a more layman-friendly version that looked professional with consistent artwork to cement their brand.
Challenge
As an early stage company, Somaxon had very little branding, so we needed to develop a look and feel that could not only be used for the current presentation, but also translated onto the web and into collateral materials. We met with their Executive team to understand the overall message for the presentation and target audience. Slide by slide, we defined the message they wanted to convey. Slides were removed, reordered, and changed – with graphics or effects added – to enhance delivery. The final product was a polished, professional, easy-to-follow story about Somaxon’s achievements and plans to develop drugs for specific indications.

Results
Somaxon delivered this presentation to several audiences, including the JP Morgan conference in January 2005. By June of 2005, Somaxon had raised $65 million.
